Renal capsule:- renal capsule is like a protective covering around the kidneys. It's a tough layer that helps keep the kidneys safe and secure inside the body. Just like a shield for the kidneys.

**Hilus:**The "hilus" is like a little doorway on the kidney where blood vessels and other important stuff go in and out. It's like a gatekeeper for the kidney, making sure everything it needs gets in and out smoothly. (On the concave side of the kidney, there is a depression called hilus.)

Renal cortex: The renal cortex is like the outer layer of the kidney. It's where all the action happens, like filtering blood and making urine.

**Renal medulla:**The renal medulla is like the inner part of the kidney, kind of like the kidney's core. It's where the urine gets concentrated before it goes out of the body.

Renal pyramid: The renal pyramid is like a triangle-shaped region in the inner part of the kidney. It's where urine is formed and stored before it moves out of the kidney.

**Renal pelvis:**The renal pelvis is like the kidney's collection cup. It's where all the urine made in the kidney gathers before it heads down to the bladder.

  1. **Renal corpuscle:**The renal corpuscle is a vital filtering unit in the kidney. It consists of two main parts: the glomerulus and the Bowman's capsule. The glomerulus is a cluster of tiny blood vessels that filter the blood, while the Bowman's capsule acts like a cup that collects the filtered substances such as water, salts, and waste to begin the urine formation process. Together, they play a crucial role in maintaining clean blood and overall bodily health.
  2. **Renal tubule:(long tube attached with bowman's capsule)**The renal tubule is like the kidney's twisting and turning tube where the filtered stuff from the renal corpuscle goes. It's where the urine gets more concentrated as it travels through different parts like the proximal convoluted tubule, loop of Henle, distal convoluted tubule.
